Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Special (NBC, Sunday 8:00 p.m.) — Joe Piscopo and several other Saturday Night Live luminaries are gathering to celebrate the return of Eddie Murphy and also the 40th anniversary of Saturday Night Live, a titanic comedic and social institution. I’m so psyched for this that I’m going to watch the one-hour red carpet arrival special that airs at 7:00 p.m. That’s how deep my love is. Join me, fellow nerds.

The Walking Dead (AMC, 9:00 p.m.) — This week on Gut Punch: The TV Series, Sasha cries for 48 minutes straight because everybody leaves her and Ghost Beth sings a song. Also, everyone is thirsty and tired from all the shoveling.

Grimm (NBC, Friday 8:00 p.m.) — Wesen firestarters, guys named Viktor, and old rivals uniting. Werewolves? Probably.

Constantine (NBC, Friday 8:00 p.m.) — John and Jim Corrigan reunite to find a missing girl and Papa Midnite wants to get his vengeance on in this, the last episode of Constantine’s first (and only?) season.

12 Monkeys (Syfy, Friday 9:00 p.m.) — Cole and Dr. Railly find the Night Room, which is a black ops lab that contains the pesky global killer of a virus that Cole keeps going on about and NOT part of Christian Grey’s abode of pleasure and pain. Abode: a semi-erotic word.

NBA All-Star Saturday Night (TNT, Saturday 8:00 p.m.) — Men will fly and balls will land in hoops as the NBA’s best dunkers (who were willing to participate) and their best shooters gather to be amazing together during the dunk contest and the three point shootout.

Saturday Night Live: Classic (NBC, Saturday 11:30) — George Carlin hosts the first ever episode of Saturday Night Live, a new variety show that’s being put on by a bunch of long hairs and hippie dippie freaks. It probably won’t last. Wrong looking muppets and a man fake singing about a mighty mouse are expected to appear and some asshole is going to read the fake news. Enjoy, I guess.

Mulaney (FOX, Sunday 7:00 p.m.) — Before gathering to watch a tribute to Lorne Michaels’ greatest success, why not experience the last episode of a thing that was less successful. Oh Mulaney, what were you?

The NBA All-Star Game (TNT, Sunday 8:30 p.m.) — The NBA’s biggest stars gather for a game of H.O.R.S.E. to determine East vs. West supremacy.

LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Bill Hader on Letterman; Dick Cavett and Morena Baccarin join Wayne Brady on The Late Late Show; and Samuel L. Jackson and Norman Reedus team up to be bad ass on Fallon.
