Weekend Preview: A ‘Walking Dead’ Recap And ‘Westworld’ Goes Hunting

Westworld (HBO, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) – Teddy gets a new story, setting him off on a chase and leaving Dolores alone in Sweetwater. Elsewhere, Elsie and Stubbs head into the hills to find a missing host; Bernard tries to get to the bottom of the hosts’ hysteria and hallucinations; and William convinces Logan to join his latest pursuit.

The Walking Dead: The Journey So Far (AMC, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) – Because they haven’t already hyped this upcoming season enough, AMC is gathering the cast and crew of The Walking Dead for a recap of the show’s first six seasons.

Caught on Camera With Nick Cannon (NBC, Friday 8:00 p.m.) – Yay … another Nick Cannon show. Season three of Caught on Camera opens with some wild weather videos and the people who experienced the stormy moments.

Hell’s Kitchen (Fox, Friday 8:00 p.m.) — The contestants compete in a surf and turf protein relay for the chance to win a day of surfing at the Wavehouse in San Diego and the losing team is tasked with making sausages from scratch (which is about as disgusting as you think it would be).

Last Man Standing (ABC, Friday 8:00 p.m.) – Mike wants to celebrate Boyd’s 10th birthday by buying him a shotgun and taking him hunting but Ryan isn’t a fan of that idea.

MLB Playoff: Game 1: Blue Jays at Indians (TBS, Friday 8:00 p.m.) — Toronto at Cleveland in Game 1 of the American League Championship Series.

MacGyver (CBS, Friday 8:00 p.m.) – The guys must shut down a warhead in Moscow so they reach out to Russian bomb programmer and his estranged handler, but a problem arises when the computer needed to disable the warhead malfunctions. Technology, am I right?

Dr. Ken (ABC, Friday 8:30 p.m.) – D.K.’s divorce news hits Ken hard, prompting him to start worrying about his own marriage.

Hawaii Five-0 (CBS, Friday 9:00 p.m.) – Good news: McGarrett and Alicia finally discover the identity of the serial killer who has been terrorizing the island. Bad news: said serial killer kidnaps them.

Shark Tank (ABC, Friday 9:00 p.m.) — A modern-day Willy Wonka pitches his family’s patented chocolate candy with a toy inside; two sister “kidpreneurs” from Memphis have designed body lotions and sprays just for tween and teen girls; a veteran in the food biz is encouraged to make counter offers for his device that turns butter into a spray; and a New Yorker pair win over the Sharks with their ingenious invention for high heels.

Z Nation (Syfy, Friday 9:00 p.m.) — A pack of wolves stalk 10K, who is injured and all alone.

The Exorcist (Fox, Friday 9:00 p.m.) – Angela’s daughter’s condition worsens while the demon continues to target innocent people.

Blue Bloods (CBS, Friday 10:00 p.m.) — Lt. Gormley suffers a beating by a mob outside of his home and the Reagans want justice for this crime, so they go to Anthony for assistance.

Van Helsing (Syfy, Friday 10:00 p.m.) – Vanessa is forced to use her emerging powers against someone she knows while being held by the vampire brood and the refugees believe that a serial killer is among them as they plot to wrestle control from Axel.

Saturday Night Live (NBC, Saturday 11:30 p.m.) – Emily Blunt hosts with musical guest Bruno Mars. After last week’s pretty stellar show with Lin-Manuel Miranda, it feels like SNL may have found its footing again. Here’s to more great hosts and Kate McKinnon and Alec Baldwin’s campaign bits.

Ash vs. Evil Dead (Starz, Sunday 8:00 p.m.) — When local teenage hell-raisers steal the Delta from Brock’s house, Ash and his pal Chet plan a party at the bar to lure in the thieves and take back the Delta and the Necronomicon.

NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS, Sunday 8:00 p.m.) — NCIS uncovers a warehouse of counterfeit purses and a money trail to stolen government funds after a Homeland Security agent is poisoned.

Once Upon a Time (ABC, Sunday 8:00 p.m.) – Hook tries to protect Belle from Gold while the Evil Queen teams up with Hyde to search for Dr. Jekyll’s serum.

The Simpsons (Fox, Sunday 8:00 p.m.) – Mr. Burns organizes a Hunger Games-style contest pitting Springfield children against each other as Lisa’s imaginary best friend begins killing her real friends in a fit of jealousy.

Sunday Night Football: Colts at Texans (NBC, Sunday 8:20 p.m.) — Indianapolis at Houston. These division rivals split their two meetings last year, with each winning on the road.

Blunt Talk (Starz, Sunday 8:30 p.m.) – Walter helps Cornelia after her investigation into the drought in L.A. lands her in hot water.

Son of Zorn (Fox, Sunday 8:30 p.m.) – Zorn wants nothing more than to be a “cool dad” when Alan comes to visit but the arrival of Alex’s friend throws off his chill.

Family Guy (Fox, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) — Quagmire takes a job as a gigolo after the airline pilots go on strike, and asks for Peter’s help collecting his fees when clients begin to stiff him for payment. So basically, Peter becomes Quagmire’s pimp.

Madam Secretary (CBS, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) — Elizabeth cautiously negotiates a regime change in Algeria in an attempt to prevent a civil war but her plans go awry when the U.S. Ambassador winds up dead.

Poldark on Masterpiece (PBS, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) – After receiving an offer from a group of smugglers, Ross makes one of his own to Francis and a pregnant Demelza risks everything.

Secrets and Lies (ABC, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) — Eric searches for Liam, Kate’s missing assistant whose real identity may have been unknown to her, and wonders about an encounter she had at a seedy motel.

The Last Man on Earth (Fox, Sunday 9:30 p.m.) – Phil and Melissa have very different ideas when it comes to home security and the group enjoys a change of scenery.

Divorce (HBO, Sunday 10:00 p.m.) – Frances attempts to stop Robert from blabbing to the kids about their impending divorce while a crowd gathers at the hospital to wait for word on Nick’s condition

Elementary (CBS, Sunday 10:00 p.m.) – The leader of a local street gang kidnaps Holmes and forces him to find the person responsible for a hit on the gang but the abduction leads Holmes and Watson to get caught up in the search for a priceless, centuries-old artifact.

Eyewitness (USA, Sunday 10:00 p.m.) — The crime drama opens with teenagers Philip and Lukas meeting to share a kiss—and witnessing a murder, which they don’t report out of fear being outed.

Masters of Sex (Showtime, Sunday 10:00 p.m.) – Johnson wants to resume her relationship with masters but he’s finding comfort elsewhere.

Quantico (ABC, Sunday 10:00 p.m.) – Alex goes undercover to infiltrate the terrorist group but she’s shocked when she runs into a familiar face.

The Strain (FX, Sunday 10:00 p.m.) — The Master’s voice emerges and proves overwhelming; Fet and Setrakian search for cargo from the Egyptian vessel; and Quinlan agrees to a deal with the Ancients, but a betrayal afterward proves deadly.

Insecure (HBO, Sunday 10:30 p.m.) – If you’re not already watching this new comedy from HBO, you’re seriously missing out. Tonight, Issa questions her relationship with Lawrence after he forgets her birthday and Molly has a new suitor lined up.
