What’s On Tonight: ‘Another Period’ Is Back And So Is ‘Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee’

Another Period (Comedy Central, 10:00 p.m.) – Another Period is back and suddenly all is right with Wednesday night television again. In the season two premiere, Harriet Tubman schools Lillian and Beatrice on how to make a name for themselves. Elsewhere, Peepers fills a new servant position and Chair welcomes baby Kermit into the world.

Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee (Crackle) – Jerry Seinfeld’s unorthodox interview show premieres its eighth season on Crackle tonight. Watch this season as he drives around a bunch of his famous, funny pals — Margaret Cho, SNL creator Lorne Michaels, stand-up comic Jim Gaffigan, Last Week Tonight host John Oliver, actor J.B. Smoove and writer-director Judd Apatow all make the list – while riding in some questionably safe, super cool vintage cars.

MasterChef (Fox, 8:00 p.m.) – Wolfgang Puck drops by to introduce the Top 20 chefs to their first Mystery Box Challenge. Later, an elimination challenge forces the cooks to attempt one of Gordon Ramsay’s signature dishes in just an hour’s time.

Young & Hungry (Freeform, 8:00 p.m.) – Gabi continues to make up elaborate stories in order to convince Josh that she has her life under control. The latest: she’s working for famed chef Giada de Laurentiis.

Baby Daddy (Freeform, 8:30 p.m.) – Ben and Bonnie go back to high school and must pass a final exam in order to earn their diplomas.

Wayward Pines (Fox, 9:00 p.m.) – CJ goes against Theo’s wishes and leads a group on a mission outside the fence; Rebecca and Megan argue over a young girl who’s trying to escape a town tradition; and Xander returns to Wayward Pines with an unexpected guest in tow who may help everyone understand more about the Abbies’ endgame.

Maron (IFC, 9:00 p.m.) – Marc lands a new writing gig courtesy of Dave’s TV show.

AFI Life Achievement Award: A Tribute to John Williams (TNT, 10:00 p.m.) – John Williams, the man responsible for some of the theme songs of our favorite movies – is getting a lifetime achievement award tonight and Steven Spielberg just so happens to be the guy giving it to him.

Royal Pains (USA, 10:00 p.m.) – While Evan and Paige struggle with IVF, Jeremiah crafts the perfect video for Divya’s baby shower and Divya meets Hank’s mentor.

The Night Shift (NBC, 10:00 p.m.) – The ultimate wedding horror story takes place as a bride and her bridal party are rushed to the E.R. to be treated for injuries sustained on the big day. Meanwhile, Drew returns from Afghanistan and begins adjusting to normal life.

Cleverman (Sundance, 10:00 p.m.) – Waruu and Koen turn down Slade’s shady offer to help the Hairys using his mysterious lab as life in the Containment Center becomes even more dangerous.
