What’s On Tonight: ‘Arrow’ Returns And ‘American Horror Story’ Wraps Up Its Season

Arrow (CW, 8:00 p.m.) — With Oliver nowhere to be seen, Arsenal and Diggle protect Starling as Brick threatens the city, and Laurel becomes the Black Canary in the mid-season premiere. Meanwhile, Merlyn pops by to say hello and deliver some news about Oliver’s whereabouts, and Ray tinkers with his suit.

The 100 (CW, 9:00 p.m.) — Another mid-season premiere. This time on “But I’m A Sky Person… Get Me Out Of Here!”, the alliance with the Grounders may be in jeopardy.

Empire (FOX, 9:00 p.m.) — Lucious brings everyone to Philadelphia to see what life could have been like had he failed to find success. Basically, it’s gonna be like that one episode of The Fresh Prince when the Banks family went back to their old neighborhood to ponder where they could have wound up had they stayed still.

American Horror Story: Freak Show (FX, 10:00 p.m.) — The end is upon us for Freak Show and the freaks are rebelling against their new overlords.

Workaholics (Comedy Central, 10:00 p.m.) — The guys launch a frontyard wrestling public access TV show and “Jean Claude’s Damme Van” enters the ether so that it might mature into a real thing. Ben Stiller guest stars

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia (FXX, 10:00 p.m.) — The gang starts looking for love (or whatever) on the internet through dating sites — awkward and spectacular hilarity likely ensues. Where has this premise been hiding?

Broad City (Comedy Central, 10:30 p.m.) — Abbi and Ilana start moving on up in their careers.

Man Seeking Woman (FXX, 10:30 p.m.) — If you’re still on the fence about Simon Rich’s sitcom, allow me to take a shot at persuading you. If you’re eagerly anticipating episode two, you should know that Josh hive-minds his text message to a girl with the help of a few trusted strategic advisers in a war room and tries to purge Maggie’s stuff from his apartment.

LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Ewan McGregor and Lea Michelle on Kimmel; Adam Goldberg and Dave Koechner on Jim Gaffigan’s Late Late Show; Jennifer Aniston and Bill Gates on Fallon; Jennifer Lopez and Nick Kroll on Meyers; Anne Hathaway on The Daily Show; and Evan Rachel Wood, Jason Ritter, and Belle and Sebastian on Conan.
