What’s On Tonight: Bros, There’s Some Sad ‘Franklin & Bash’ News

Franklin & Bash (TNT, 9:00 p.m.) – Noooooooooooo. According to Reggie Watts from Comedy Bang Bang, comedian Kumail Nanjiani is leaving my precious Franklin & Bash. Noooooooo. (Related: Nanjiani’s recent standup special, Beta Male, is worth checking out.)

The Bridge (FX, 10:00 p.m.) – I want to be very, very clear about this: Please do not tie me up and leave me to die in the desert. I don’t care what you’ve heard, that is NOT something I want you to do. Not even a little.

Futurama (Comedy Central, 10:00 p.m.) – Here is the full description of tonight’s episode: “Bender looks for his rear end all over the universe.” I don’t see how I can possibly be expected to improve upon that sentence with some snarky joke, so I’m just going to shut this one down and move on.

Only in America With Larry the Cable Guy (History Channel, 9:00 p.m.) – From TV Guide: “Larry studies human decomposition in Texas.” Double nope.

The Soup (E!, 10:00 p.m.) – Consider this your monthly reminder that you should be watching The Soup on a regular basis. Joel McHale is wonderful on Community, but this is his natural habitat.

LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Johnny Knoxville, Logan Lerman, and Queens of the Stone Age are on Kimmel; noted charades expert Matt Damon is on Letterman; Jane Leeves, Ahna O’Reilly, and the Backstreet Boys are on Ferguson; Kate Hudson and Bob Costas are on Leno; Tyra Banks and Simon Pegg are on Fallon; and Kevin Nealon is on Conan.
