What’s On Tonight: ‘Gotham’ Signs Off And ‘Bates Motel’ Ramps Up The Crazy

Gotham (Fox, 8:00 p.m.) – The season finale sees Gotham’s gang wars tearing the city apart and a mohawk-sporting Fish Mooney duking it out with Maroni and Penguin. Elsewhere, Gordon’s ex meets his current flame, and Bruce is just your average, pre-teen orphan searching his family’s mansion for clues from his dead father.

Bates Motel (A&E, 9:00 p.m.) – Last week saw things getting almost hot and heavy between Norma and Norman — sorry, I just threw up in my mouth a little while writing that — a Romero kiss, a torture scene and Dylan and Caleb doing some father/son bonding by running guns. This week, Norman has a surprise visitor that isn’t a vision of a dog killed two seasons ago, Caleb and Dylan deal with the backlash from their little gunfight, and Norma does normal mom things for once, like cleaning up the work space in the basement where her son stuffs dead animals.

NBA Playoff: Game 1: Bulls at Cavaliers (TNT, 7:00 p.m.) – It’s the semifinals and everyone in Cleveland loves LeBron James again.

The Originals (CW, 8:00 p.m.) – Quick recap: Evil witch of an aunt Dahlia wants to use baby Hope as her personal magical energizer battery and Elijah staked Klaus so he wouldn’t f*ck up Freya’s plan to take Dahlia down. Klaus is now awake, pretty pissed and making completely idiotic decisions, like letting Dahlia use her abilities to convince him to rage out on everyone trying to keep his kid safe. Basically, Dahlia’s the Scarlet Witch and Klaus is The Hulk in tonight’s episode.

WWE Monday Night Raw (USA, 8:00 p.m.) – Because no one’s allowed to comfortably hold a title belt for longer than two weeks, Seth Rollins must now defend his against Randy Orton and Roman Reigns at WWE Payback.

Jane the Virgin (CW, 9:00 p.m.) – The only good thing about attending a high school reunion is being able to brag about how awesome your life became after high school. Because Jane can’t really do that — she’s pregnant, she’s a virgin and she’s single, you know — it’s understandable that she isn’t too thrilled about parading her baby bump around her old classmates.

The Following (Fox, 9:00 p.m.) – When the serial killer you’ve secretly been crushing on for three seasons is finally executed by lethal injection, getting wasted on scotch seems like the appropriate thing to do. While Ryan goes off the deep end, more mass murdering psychos cause trouble.

TURN: Washington’s Spies (AMC, 10:00 p.m.) – Abe’s still trying to recruit a spy inside New York while Ben is faced with figuring out which of two deserters is actually a double agent.

Castle (ABC, 10:00 p.m.) – The creator of a sketch comedy show is murdered, and the investigation leads to Carly Rae Jepsen. Just kidding, but she is a guest star on tonight’s episode.

The Returned (A&E, 10:00 p.m.) – Chloe’s in danger, Peter has something to say and Helen’s plan to destroy the town is set in motion.

LATE NIGHT GUESTS: President Barack Obama, Will Ferrell and the Avett Brothers on Letterman; Jack Black and Melissa Rivers on Fallon; Ryan Seacrest and Brittany Snow on Kimmel; Arnold Schwarzenegger and Mark Harmon on Corden; Lily Tomlin and Abigail Breslin on Meyers; and Jeremy Renner on Conan.
