Halt and Catch Fire (AMC, 9:00/10:00 p.m.) – Gordon deals with Joanie as Donna tries to unite Comdex in order to push her new vision of the internet. Later, in the third season finale, Donna’s vision generates ideas for the next big thing and how to achieve it, but not everyone is pleased with the end result. It’s pretty depressing that this season is already over, but hey, at least we know we’re getting another.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine (Fox, 8:00 p.m.) – The New Girl crossover event is here. Jake enlists Jess’ help with a case during her visit to New York as Holt researches new ways to improve team morale at the station.
New Girl (Fox, 8:30 p.m.) – Jess is, you guessed it, still busy helping Jake with his case while Winston and Nick struggle to figure out the subway and Cece deals with her overbearing mother-in-law.
NCIS (CBS, 8:00 p.m.) – The body of a navy lieutenant is discovered on board a destroyer after civilian guests are allowed to spend the night on the ship.
The Flash (CW, 8:00 p.m.) – Barry deals with the consequences of Flashpoint and meets his new co-worker, Draco Malfoy Julian Albert who immediately hates him. Meet this season’s antagonist, folks. (Really, what do you expect from a Slytherin?)
The Middle (ABC, 8:00 p.m.) – Season eight premieres with Frankie and Mike meeting Axl’s quirky new girlfriend. Meanwhile, Sue decides she should change her major to theater after having an awesome summer at Dollywood, and Brick begins high school with a mission to change his image from weirdo to cool kid.
The Voice (NBC, 8:00 p.m.) – More battle rounds as Joan Jett, Bette Midler, Sammy Hagar and Charlie Puth stick around for another night of coaching.
WWE SmackDown (USA, 8:00 p.m.) – We recap what went down in that three-way battle for the WWE Championship at No Mercy and take a look at Dolph Ziggler’s exit from WWE.
American Housewife (ABC, 8:30 p.m.) – Once billed as The Second Fattest Housewife in Westport, ABC’s new comedy American Housewife looks like it’s trying to be a funnier version of Stepford Wives. The network did well to change the name of the show that follows a confident, unapologetic wife and mother of three, raises her flawed family in the wealthy town of Westport, Connecticut, filled with “perfect” mommies and their “perfect” offspring, but bets are on that the title isn’t the only offensive, tone-deaf thing to come from this series. Mike and Molly’s Katie Mixon is funny, though, so we’ll give it a shot.
Bull (CBS, 9:00 p.m.) – Benny runs into an old flame while working on a case involving the murder of a star athlete and the woman who once accused the player of sexually assaulting her.
Fresh Off the Boat (ABC, 9:00 p.m.) – The Huangs aren’t in Florida anymore when season three of Fresh Off the Boat premieres. Eddie and the family travel to Taiwan in order to make things right with Gene. While Jessica introduces the boys to their roots, Louis questions whether he made the right choice in relocating his family to Orlando.
This Is Us (NBC, 9:00 p.m.) – Rebecca decides to surprise Randall by showing up unannounced at his home and gets her own surprise when Randall’s biological dad greets her. Meanwhile, Kevin decides to make the move to the Big Apple in order to work on Broadway; and Toby plans a special day for Kate. In the past, Rebecca and Jack bring their babies home from the hospital and struggle to cope with the loss of their child.
Scream Queens (Fox, 9:00 p.m.) – While Dean Munsch, Denise and the Chanels question Hester about the killer and revisit the Halloween massacre, Chad does his own investigation into Brock, who he thinks is the culprit behind the killings.
The Real O’Neals (ABC, 9:30 p.m.) – Season two opens with Kenny starting an LGBT club at school, recruiting a lesbian to join and then pressuring her into coming out to her family before she’s ready. Not cool, dude.
Atlanta (FX, 10:00 p.m.) – Last week Van got fired, this week Montague shows up.
Chicago Fire (NBC, 10:00 p.m.) – Season five kicks off with Severide and Stella searching for Grant who went AWOL on Chicago Med; Dawson questioning her career path; Casey breaking up with his political consultant; Borrelli’s anger at Boden over his brother’s death reaching the boiling point.
Ink Master (Spike, 10:00 p.m.) – An upcoming Flash Challenge has the artists working with metal.
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC, 10:00 p.m.) – May’s illness worsens. As she fights for her life, Simmons and Dr. Radcliffe try to save her. Elsewhere, Coulson, Mack and Fitz attempt to thwart a rogue group looking to end Inhuman Registration.
NCIS: New Orleans (CBS, 10:00 p.m.) — The murder of a decorated petty officer inside a sports arena leads the team to discover evidence linking the crime to the kidnapping of another petty officer who was last seen in Mexico.
Tosh.0 (Comedy Central, 10:00 p.m.) – In which Tosh lists the world’s worst towns and dons a last resort outfit.
Drunk History (Comedy Central, 10:30 p.m.) – Andrew Jackson participates in a gunfight and Marsha P. Johnson advocates for LGBT rights.
Full Frontal With Samantha Bee (TBS, 10:30 p.m.) – Another presidential debate couldn’t go by without getting Samantha Bee’s thoughts on the disaster.
