WHAT’S ON TONIGHT: OBAMA. AGAIN.

President Obama Press Conference (all networks) — In his most beneficent and magnanimous act as our nation’s leader, Barack Obama pre-empts “American Idol” and “According to Jim.”

The Royal Tenenbaums (IFC) — The most enjoyable of the Wes Anderson films.  Which is to say, the least grating.  Uh oh, I just said something bad about someone’s favorite movie!  Alert the film snobs!

Dogg After Dark (MTV) — Under no circumstances should you watch MTV between 8:30 and 9:00 p.m.  This show is mercilessly awful.

NBA Basketball (TNT) — Double-header: Pistons at Bulls followed by Rockets at Jazz.  Yeah, I know: it’s a slow night.

Bad Girls Club (Oxygen) — The Season 3 finale.  From the TV Guide description: “Sarah informs Noah about her sextracurricular activities in Cancun. Emotions run high when the ladies bid adieu — but not before demolishing the house on their way out.”  Shame.  It would have been way better to demolish the house with everyone still inside.

Jim Gaffigan: Beyond the Pale (Comedy Central) — Who cares if it’s not new?  It’s f-ckin’ Jim Gaffigan.  Set your DVR for 10:00.
