What’s On Tonight: Things Go South On ‘Mr. Robot’

2016 Summer Olympics Primetime: Women’s beach volleyball (U.S. vs. Switzerland); swimming; men’s gymnastics (NBC, 8:00 p.m.) — More Olympics action. Tonight Nathan Adrian, Missy Franklin, Katie Ledecky, Ryan Lochte and Michael Phelps take to the pool as the men’s gymnastics team tries to redeem themselves in the individual and all-around competitions, and Kerri Walsh Jennings and April Ross take on the Swedes in beach volleyball. Has Leslie Jones made it down there yet?

Big Brother (CBS, 8:00 p.m.) — It’s time for another Power of Veto competition.

Ghost Hunters (Syfy, 9:00 p.m.) — TAPS investigates a haunted armory that’s been standing for over 100 years and discover that yes, misogynistic ghosts do exist. An increase in paranormal activity is traced back to the bump in female leadership, and the team thinks the male specters aren’t happy about it.

Suits (USA, 9:00 p.m.) — Mike works hard to gain Kevin’s trust while Harvey puts a risky plan into motion. Meanwhile, Jessica is busy trying to mend the firm’s damaged reputation and Louis goes to Donna with his relationship problems.

American Gothic (CBS, 10:00 p.m.) — Brady makes a disturbing breakthrough in the case as Garrett and Alison try to silence a reporter causing problems for the family.

Another Period (Comedy Central, 10:00 p.m.) — Lillian readies to marry a wealthy older gentleman whose grandson has taken a liking to Hortense. While preparations for the big day are underway, Frederick sends Beatrice away from Bellecourt Manor after some less than savory photos surface that could ruin his run for vice president.

Paranormal Witness (Syfy, 10:00 p.m.) — Three college students recount their story of moving into a run-down rental in Georgia and coming face-to-face with the ghost of a crack fiend that had been haunting the place.

Tyrant (FX, 10:00 p.m.) — Barry cracks down as the election spirals out of control and his strict policies end up putting Daliyah in danger. Meanwhile, Daliyah is wrestling with Fauzi’s confession and Al-Qadi tries a risky plan to bring peace.
