How to Get Away With Murder (ABC, 10:00 p.m.) — Welcome to the post-Murder Night world on the mid-season premiere.

Big Bang Theory (CBS, 8:00 p,m.) — Sheldon asks his friends to torture him so that he can focus his brain on a scientific breakthrough that eludes him. Meanwhile, he could just f*ck his way to clarity, finally put a smile on Blossom’s face, and save everyone a lot of trouble.

The Vampire Diaries (CW, 8:00 p.m.) — Liv and Luke want Jo and Kai to take their place in the merge and Jo tries to save Sheriff Forbes’ life.

Mom (CBS, 8:30 p.m.) — Bonnie continues to act out following last week’s loss while Alvin’s ex-wife (Beverly D’Angelo) stops by to surely add fuel to the fire.

Backstrom (FOX, 9:00 p.m.) — Evidence briefly goes missing in an arson investigation before Backstrom discovers that it was encased in jello and left in a desk drawer by one of his colleagues.

Archer (FX, 10:00 p.m.) — Pam takes Archer to her sisters wedding but unsurprisingly, things don’t go smoothly and they get sidetracked.
