What’s On Tonight: ‘Superstore’ Goes To War, But Not Against Christmas

If nothing in this listing fits your mood tonight, please check out our guide to What You Should Watch On Streaming Right Now.

Jack Whitehall: Christmas With My Father (Netflix) — British comic Jack Whitehall continues the “story” of his show Travels With My Father in the one-off special Christmas With My Father. This time, dad Michael is forced to endure a bunch of comedy and musical routines in the hopes of getting him in the Christmas spirit.

Ellen’s Greatest Night of Giveaways (NBC, 8:00 p.m.) — Comedian and daytime talk show host Ellen DeGeneres concludes her three-night event with a third and final episode featuring Justin Timberlake. And, yes, this means lots of more free stuff for plenty of knowledgeable and surprised contestants alike.

Supernatural (The CW, 8:0o p.m.) — Brothers Sam and Dean, and their trusty ally Castiel, just can’t seem to get around their latest foe, Chuck. In fact, they haven’t made any headway at all when it comes to trying to defeat him. This time, however, they’ve managed to secure a little help from a few unlikely sources.

The Great American Baking Show: Holiday Edition (ABC, 9:00 p.m.) — When it comes to reality baking competitions, The Great British Bake Off remains undefeated, though ABC’s The Great American Baking Show hasn’t stopped in its quest to be just as good. Hence the Christmas-themed Holiday Edition.

Superstore (NBC, 9:00 p.m.) — The contract negotiations between the Cloud 9 employees union and the department store’s nasty corporate side are heating up. As a result, Jonah and Sandra are stepping up their game as they continue to represent their colleagues at the table. Meanwhile, everyone else is Christmas tree-shopping.

Evil (CBS, 10:00 p.m.) — Even a religiously-themed X-Files clone cannot escape the holiday season. Hence tonight’s episode of Evil, in which Kristen, David, and Ben find themselves on the trail of a devilishly addictive Christmas song that’s having ill effects on a student population. Also, social media plays a part, because of course it does.
