The Soup (E!, 10:00 p.m.) – To celebrate its 500th episode, The Soup will be doing two live episodes tonight, one at 10 p.m. Eastern, and one at 10 p.m. Pacific. I have only one humble request for tonight’s festivities: BRING BACK SPAGHETTI CAT.
The Bridge (FX, 10:00 p.m.) – I want to buy that Mexican crime boss a new hat SO BAD. That plain, navy blue trucker joint looks like one of the generic hats you buy in bulk for a Little League team before you blast the front with a Joe’s Auto Body decal. Come on, son. I see you chucking stacks of cash in the fireplace. I know you can afford a new one.
Scandal (BET, 9:00 p.m.) – BET has been replaying the first two seasons of Scandal over the past few weeks, and tonight they’re running the HOLY SH*T YOU GUYS second season finale. You should all be watching this show. It is insane.
Necessary Roughness (USA, 10:00 p.m.) – Season finale. Cool. Coolcoolcool.
Duck Dynasty (A&E, 10:00 p.m.) – After much debate and soul-searching, I have decided that you are allowed to enjoy Duck Dynasty if you want to. I am a kind and benevolent ruler. Now bring me more wine.
LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Everyone’s in repeats except Letterman, who has Tina Fey. Have you read Bossypants? You should read Bossypants.
Read?! College boy, eh?
I agree. Why read it when you can get the audiobook read by Tina herself?
And by spaghetti cat I assume you mean Hal Sparks?
I thought he meant Italian Jay Cutler.
Troy and Abed in the Morning; watch the cross over…. watch it.
the soup has only been for 500 episodes? feels longer…since the days of skunk boy and aisha tyler hosting it.
especialy since I can’t remember the last time there was a week where it was a repeat. countdown stuff and yearly recaps, sure. but still it’s a new episode. that joel mchale is a hard working son of a bitch.
I think they separate The Soup and Talk Soup, for whatever reason.
I’d also love to see the return of Nathaniel and King Curtis.
Now you tell me (about Scandal season 2 replay)! Not helpful!
Wait do you think Abed watches Necessary Roughness? Is anyone but me watching it? Is it my Farscape?
Actually, Farscape’s my Farscape, but whatever.
Counterpoint: You are NOT allowed to enjoy Duck Dynasty.
I like Scandal primarily because of Joshua Malina. He’s killing it. And I’m genuinely surprised whenever Columbus Short has a line of dialogue that has nothing to do with how great Olivia Pope is
Am I the only one who doesn’t completely hate The Neighbors? It’s corny, but has it’s moments.
the East Coast live Soup was great. McHale seemed downright giddy throughout the whole thing and nailed it.
