What’s On Tonight: ‘Wayward Pines’ Gets Weird Again And ‘Nashville’ Comes To An Emotional End

Wayward Pines (Fox, 9:00 p.m.) – Season two kicks off as Dr. Theo Yedlin (a surgeon and new resident of the town) awakens from his suspended animation and discovers a full-on rebellion has taken place in Wayward Pines. Let the weirdness commence.

Nashville (ABC, 10:00 p.m.) – Prepare for a ton of ugly crying as Nashville officially bites the bullet. On the docket for tonight’s series finale: Rayna takes drastic measures to protect Maddie, Juliette publicly addresses Luke’s death and a music duo considers parting ways.

Arrow (CW, 8:00 p.m.) – Season four wraps up with Oliver aligning himself with a surprising force in order to stop Damien Darhk once and for all.

Heartbeat (NBC, 8:00 p.m.) – It’s time to say goodbye for good to this medical drama. In tonight’s finale, a mysterious illness sends the hospital into lockdown and leaves Alex scrambling to save the lives of those she loves.

Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders (CBS, 9:00/10:00 p.m.) – When a missing American tourist’s ears (yes, ears) are found in Pamplona, Spain, the team heads to the city to investigate – and maybe participate in the annual running of the bulls. Later, in the season finale, the team races to find the daughter of an American family who was kidnapped in Haiti after attempting to adopt a child.

Genius by Stephen Hawking (PBS, 9:00/10:00 p.m.) – We’re taking on the big question tonight, folks: Why do people exist? Later, in lighter fare, we’ll look at where the universe came from.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC, 9:00 p.m.) – The conclusion of the two-part season 17 finale sees lives put on the line as the team continues to investigate a corrections officer accused of raping his female inmates.

Supernatural (CW, 9:00 p.m.) – In the season 11 finale, God’s decision regarding Amara has some serious repercussions for Sam and Dean.
