What’s On Tonight: Former ‘Walking Dead’ Showrunner Frank Darabont’s New Event Series, ‘Mob City’

Mob City (TNT, 9:00 p.m.) – Tonight is the two-hour premiere of Frank Darabont’s three-week, six-hour “event series” that looks at the LAPD’s battle with organized crime in the 1940s. The reviews have been somewhat mixed. I’ve posted a preview clip below. You are welcome for all this helpful information.

South Park/Key & Peele (Comedy Central, 10-11:00 p.m.) – As we mentioned the other day, this is the conclusion of South Park‘s three-part Black Friday/Game of Thrones saga. The episode is titled “Titties & Dragons.” I feel like some of you probably wanted to know that.

Christmas in Rockefeller Center/Saturday Night Live Christmas (NBC, 7-10:00 p.m.) – Back-to-back Christmas specials on NBC tonight, with the first featuring performances by Mary J. Blige, Toni Braxton, Mariah Carey, Kelly Clarkson, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Goo Goo Dolls, Ariana Grande, and Jewel.

American Horror Story: Coven (FX, 10:00 p.m.) – From TV Guide: “Cordelia tries to stop Fiona. Meanwhile, a dangerous enemy targets Misty; and the rivalry between Marie Laveau and Delphine comes to a head.” I imagine they had fun coming up with the names of the characters on this show.

Arrow (CW, 8 p.m.) – Gamma Squad has you covered, as always.

LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Mostly repeats tonight other than Benedict Cumberbatch and R. Kelly on Kimmel, Aisha Tyler and Bruce McCall on Ferguson, Ben Stiller and Evangeline Lilly on Conan.
