What’s On Tonight: Let The Fall TV 2013 Season Begin

Sleepy Hollow (Fox, 8 p.m.) — Series premiere. This goofy looking “modern-day retelling” of Washington Irving’s The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, now with more cellphones and cars and buddy cops, is actually getting pretty solid reviews, including from our own Dan Seitz. Decide for yourself whether it’s actually good or the bar for procedurals has been set so low that anything not completely terrible is considered Season Pass-able.

Adventure Time (Cartoon Network, 7 p.m.) — “Finn sleepwalks while dreaming of the Ghost Lady,” which probably means we’re going to care more about a kids show more than we should. I am preparing to flip many a-sh*t.

Bones (Fox, 8 p.m.) — Season premiere. OK, but seriously, have Bones and Boy Bones boned yet?

Dancing with the Stars (ABC, 8 p.m.) — Season premiere. BILL BILL BILL BILL BILL NYE NOW ON DANCING WITH THE STARS FOR SOME REASON GUY.

Monday Night Football (ESPN, 8:25 p.m.) — The Steelers travel to Cincinnati to play the Bengals, which is the first time “travel to Cincinnati” hasn’t been followed by “to try to kill Mike Brown” ever.

Under the Dome (CBS, 10 p.m.) — Yup, still around. Hopefully Dean Norris fares better tonight…

LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Louis C.K. and John Legend on Letterman; Andy Samberg and Malin Akerman on Kimmel; Dianna Agron and Joel Stein on Ferguson; Ben Affleck, Mindy Kaling, and Pixies on Fallon; Zooey Deschanel on Conan; Robert Reich on Stewart; and Andrew Bacevich on Colbert.
