Worst. Media Company. Ever.

Here at Warming Glow, I do my best to focus on actual television news and clips, and spare you from the cesspool of handjobs and lobotomies that passes for journalism in Hollywood. However, much like the Palin family, some things are too loud and retarded to ignore, and so it is with a dismissive wank that I tell you Michael Ausiello is leaving Entertainment Weekly to start a new TV website for MMC, the same company that owns Deadline.com, home of shrieking harpy Nikki Finke, two-dollar whore Pete Hammond, and a font that says, “Hi, it’s 2002 and we learned some basic HTML coding.” From the press release:

During his tenure at Entertainment Weekly, Ausiello was responsible for breaking hundreds of exclusive TV stories, and the Auseillo [sic – nice proofreading of the press release] Files — the print and online column —  quickly became a must read for consumers as well as industry influencers. As evidenced by his 1.2 million Twitter followers, consumers around the world crave the inside scoop — and nobody breaks more consumer TV news than Michael.

To my knowledge, Ausiello is also the only person to ever begin a headline with “EXCLUSIVE!” and end it with a question mark. But yeah, I’m sure it’ll be a great website. It’ll be the number one destination for people looking to find out whether Jordana Spiro landed a guest role on “Chuck.” I give this news two mouth farts and a snarky tweet.
