The universes of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! and The Walking Dead actually have a lot in common. For one, none of the characters ever know where the hell Scooby or Carl are. Also, both shows have an episode where a mother dies after giving birth to a daughter in a prison, then becomes a zombie and her son has to shoot her before she kills everyone. I believe the Scooby episode was titled “The Calamitous Curse of the Zombaby.”
Anyway, perhaps inspired by his van running out of gas in front of Old Man Jenkins’ Best Buy, where he bought The Walking Dead on DVD, photographer Jeff Zoet staged what a crossover between AMC’s zombie series and Scooby-Doo might look like. And it looks good, as good as Fred feels when he puts on his ascot every morning.
