Even in the Vatican, it’s hard to find some good blow. Apparently someone in the Vatican needed more than spiritual guidance when preaching the word of the Lord. Via Fox News:

German customs officials intercepted a shipment of cocaine destined for the Vatican in January, weekly Bild am Sonntag reported Sunday.

Officers at Leipzig airport found 12 ounces of the drug packed into 14 condoms inside a shipment of cushions coming from South America, the paper, reported citing a German customs report. It said the package was simply addressed to the Vatican postal office, meaning any of the Catholic mini-state’s 800 residents could have picked it up.

One of those 800 residents is in big trouble! Just kidding, it’s the Vatican. The only way condoms are getting in that place is if they’re filled with cocaine. I mean, what else are they used for? Balloons? Let me tell you, they don’t work very well at birthday parties.

Vatican spokesman the Rev. Federico Lombardi confirmed that the Vatican police had cooperated with German police in an attempt to identify the traffickers. He said the investigation remained open. (via)

Sometimes religion really closes your mind, but cocaine helps open it up after you snort it from a condom. Can you imagine blowing a line of cocaine and sitting in a church for two hours? Wait, yeah, probably.
