33 High School Students Were Suspended After Filming Twerking Video

In sunny San Diego, there are nearly three dozen teenagers whose permanent records now read, “MOTHERF*CKER TWERKED TOO DAMN HARD.” Twerking, for those who don’t spend their days watching Miley Cyrus videos (weirdos), is “the act of moving/ shaking ones ass/buns/bottom/buttocks/bum-bum in a circular, up-and-down, and side-to-side motion,” according to Urban Dictionary. It’s what The Man might call “dirty dancing,” and San Diego’s Scripps Ranch High School is all like LESS TWERK, MORE WORK, while the students are so MORE TWERK, LESS WORK. They don’t see eye-to-eye, stiff khakis-to-black yoga pants.

The video, created recently by students in a media class at Scripps Ranch High School, shows teenaged girls twerking while doing handstands to a YG song.

Thirty-two students danced and one student used school property to videotape the group outside class during 6th period. Later, the student used school editing equipment to add music and post the clip to YouTube.

As a result, all 33 students were suspended as of Tuesday through the end of the week. (Via)

I think all the suspended students agree it was worth it, though, after receiving this compliment from “Dick Dickerson”: “damn. white girls got fat asses now. black women…its not looking too good for you.” A+
