The majority of us have been guilty of getting jealous over someone’s impressive feats of coiffure at one point or another. (For this writer, it’s Jimmy Ray that made me green with envy.) It’s a feeling not worth beating yourself up over, but when it’s a baby that has the all-star hairdo? That stings, man.
At the moment, the internet is going appropriately berserk over this slice of video featuring a baby with a luxurious head of hair. Heck, this tot looks like the gag at the end of a movie where the lead action star’s newborn baby has hair just like him. Apparently, this child has always been blessed when it comes to his locks. (Not that he’s likely to notice.)
“When he was born it was quite thick but everybody said it would stop and that a lot of it would fall out,” said the boy’s mom Chelsea Noon in a chat with the Irish Mirror. “He hasn’t lost any – there’s none in the cot, none in his little chair or the pram, it’s literally just growing and it grows out not down so it sticks up.”
Thankfully for the 8-week-old young’un, his mom is a former hairdresser and she’s all for keeping Junior’s mighty bouffant in its triumphant state. The boy’s unique look has even spawned a not too shabby nickname.
“We call him ‘Baby Bear’ because he looks like a little bear but when he’s angry he looks like a little gremlin,” explains his mom.
It’s a good thing she went with the “little bear” side of the equation rather than the gremlin route. Provided you’ve done DNA testing to prove your child isn’t a Mogwai, it’s probably not deadly to feed them after midnight.
