And Now, A Perfectly Normal Moment Between Neil Gaiman And Adam Savage

If there’s one thing I’ll geek out about, it’s Neil Gaiman.  And Minnesota Public Radio’s Wits.  Two things.  Also Mythbusters.  Three.  Three things.  Okay, also Lord of the Rings.  Four.  But above all else: pornography.  Wait, go back one.  This post is only about the first four things.

Neil Gaiman was a guest on Minnesota Public Radio’s Wits. Several clips from the show are on the Wits website right now, but we’re just posting one highlight.  Adam Savage phoned in and Neil Gaiman mentioned he once saw Savage with bloody tissues jammed in his nose, singing “I Will Survive” in the voice of Gollum from Lord of the Rings.  Like ya do.

Savage not only confirmed that this happened *drops a metal sign which says “confirmed”*, but also sang an awkwardly large amount of the song in Gollum’s voice.  Watching Neil Gaiman and show host John Moe having the church giggles during Savage’s performance would make for great radio if radios came with some sort of visual viewing screen.  Ooo, someone should invent that!
