When done well, a good groomsman dance routine can delight wedding guests and add even more happiness to an already joyful event. When done poorly… Well, we won’t get into that. Thankfully this video lands on the former end of the spectrum, as the groom writes on reddit that he got married on Saturday, and his two best men had this surprise in store for him.
The surprise was a seemingly impromptu (but obviously painstakingly rehearsed) dance routine to a medley of classic (or soon to be) wedding songs including Beyonce’s “Love on Top,” *NSYNC’s “It’s Gonna Be Me,” and Drake’s “Hotline Bling,” before bringing it back around to “Single Ladies.” And the verdict is, yep, these dudes can definitely get it.
Commenters were quick to point out that they weren’t a fan of the small boy who gets in the way early on and nearly ruins what is otherwise a clearly shot and well lit horizontally filmed video. But while some of us are strong proponents of child-free weddings, the groom also writes that the kid apparently has not had the easiest life so far, so maybe cut him some slack. (Although if you want to continue hating on kids in secret, I certainly won’t be the one to judge you for it.)
