One walker on the hand will pull you in the bush on this week’s The Walking Dead.
We Got Walkers In The Shrubs
This One Seems To Have Pulled A Campbell
They Also Came Out The Hallways
If there’s a bustle in your hedgerow, don’t be alarmed now. It’s just a spring clean for the HOLY FUCK IT’S A ZOMBIE!!!
Loved that lingering shot of the bushes. Also, zombies jumping out of hanging vines would be a perfect room in next year’s inevitable Walking Dead house at Halloween Horror Nights
Carol gone. Did not see that coming.
Also, Bob you suck.
That shocked me a bit too. But I guess it was inevitable. to pre-quote Dustin, maybe it will bring the Governor back into the fold.
@Dave: Maybe Carol IS The Governor.
I didn’t expect that either. I think she’ll still be around though – I bet she shows back up at the prison before too long…
You don’t really think she is gone gone, do you.
There’s a reason she was kept alive. She’ll be back at some point.
carol is the new rick in the spinoff, if they’re serious about that?
Maybe this is where the spinoff will pickup. After driving away, Carol runs into that dude whose shoulder she fixed. The two then continue their journey together, eventually running into a reformed Governor and a still unstable Morgan. Boom! Just wrote that shit for them, I better be getting at least an associate producer credit when the spinoff comes around.
I like that, except for the Governor.
No, that guy was a huge loser. He had psycho written all over his face.
Little too much soap opera this week, but the action was solid too
Quoting Romero; insanity follows
This week? Its always just a soap opera for boys.
The carol and Daryl shippers may riot soon
How long before Dustin puts forth the theory that “someone (The Governor?)” planted those vines as a trap for the prison folks?
well SOMEONE had to plant it!
Those kudzu vines were the first “realistic” part about living in Georgia….those bastards grow anywhere & everywhere & you can’t get rid of them.
The Governor does all…
The Lori anecdote proved she was a failure before the apocalypse. That was reassuring.
ha i had that exact thought during the scene. forcing your family to eat lumpy pancakes every week is just cruel
Did they not have Bisquick Shake & Pour in their world? I used that for some tasty pancakes this weekend!
Seriously. Who can’t make decent pancakes?
Next, Rick will tell us that she could’t make slice ‘n bake cookies.
“You know Lori used to make me and Carl peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch. And dammit if she didn’t fuck that up too”
“She always used to out the jelly on the bottom. I know I could have flipped the sandwich…but it was the principle.”
Uncrustables would have solved that problem.
Just stir harder Lori, this isn’t rocket science!
I’m pretty sure that was a bottle of Courvoisier that Bob found. #LeonPhelps #Mmmm-hmm
Pretty sure I saw the same thing:
So now we have a week to speculate on how everyone’s going to react when Rick tells them about Carol. They’ll be pissed at Rick for unilaterally leaving her, either because they want her dead or because they want her back. Someone’s reaction will be a surprise to us, but we don’t know who.
I think that little crazy kid is going to turn to a new zombie friend for comfort.
They better not be pissed. This was one of the best decison’s Rick’s made all series. He saved her life. And prevented the group from having to decide wether or not to kill one of their own. They should be baking him a a big fat cake!
I hope it is not something that is just glossed over next week.
I like how Rick gave Carol the “it wasn’t your call” speech then kicked her out of the group all on his own. Without any other input.
I think they’ll all be happy that Rick is acting like a leader again, but Tyreese will go apeshit.
Kudzu, plant it now for great zombie protection!!
Kudzu, the only thing that multiplies faster than a zombie horde.
With their luck it would turn into that vine from The Ruins
Rick is just going to tell the group that Carol died, he won’t come clean about the real reason/story.
You think? I think he’ll have one of three options.
1. Carol died. Deal with tears, why didn’t you protect her, etc, etc.
2. Carol left. WTF??? Why…..tell about the killing?
3. I kicked Carol out. Rick going from farmer to boss in a heartbeat, not cool. What about the council? Shouldn’t there be a vote? Why…tell about the killing.
He’s gonna be honest. Rick couldn’t lie to save his life. And I’m glad Rick finally stepped back into his role as a leader. He made a tough decision but unlike Carol he did it from a place of compassion not just survival. The group would have been torn over what to do with Carol. Now they can just be pissed at him and get on to dealing with more important matters.
“What about the council?” Carol was on the council…so I think how much he cares about that speaks for itself.
If Rick does lie (I don’t think he will, though) then you KNOW that Carol will show up alive at some point down the road because CONFLICT = DRAMA (storytelling 101, y’all).
Instead of watching the show, I look at these here gifs.
I like the show best when they go out into the world. I know that is like saying, “I like pizza”, but still…
Next week you get the cauliflower crust version of pizza, IE, life in the prison.
I’m with ya. Next week, by contrast, looks brutal.
I only see one page, is there a second?
Moral ambiguity in the post-zombie world – Rick doesn’t get it. But his decision was sound, even though Carol had some strong points. “You can be a farmer, Rick. But you can’t be just a farmer” It’s a new frontier – better be able to kill AND cook your own meal. Side note: Only Daryl, Rick, Carl and Glenn remain from the “original” group. That was a little surprising to me.
Rick could of countered with “Whatever I am, I need to stay human.” Survival isn’t enough.
Last week when Carol kicked over the water containers, I thought that she realized this, I thought she saw that what she had done had been futile (once she saw Lizzie still got sick) and that she would see that strength can’t only be about survival. But everything she said to Rick this week from her husband to her daughter to her pathetic attempts to justify what she had done just showed that she had died a long time ago. She been surviving not living since before the zombiepocalypse. I think Carol will eventually comeback and I hope it’s as a changed person.
I really wanted Daryl to toss that guy off the roof onto the walkers.
Walker Chia Pet rules!
I vote no recap, just the highlight gifs!
How the hell did that couple they ran into manage to stay alive for as long as they did? They were literally hiding in a house that had a zombie roaming around in it before they died. Seemed staggeringly incompetent for lasting 12+ months (?) in a zombie apocalypse.
Why don’t Carol and Tyrese just fight to the death? I’d watch that. I’d watch the shit out of that.
Not hedges. Kudzu.
Lizzie is the worst.
Nice GIFs, I was hoping for one of Daryl about to throw the bottle and Bob reaching for his holster though
The thought of a zombie Pete Campbell falling down the stairs made me chuckle.
not a zombie kill, but my favorite moment was the guy tossing the nectarine at rick while having a gun pulled on him. seems unintentionally badass.
