There’s nothing wrong with taking in a little, how shall we say, adult film here and there — provided you do it on your own time. In other words, not at work (well, maaaaaaybe if you work from home, but not on a company distributed laptop) — and for the love of everything holy, not during a public meeting.
Florianópolis, Brazil Alderman, Professor Lino Peres, learned this lesson the hard way after he was spotted surfing Uproxx’s favorite porn site, Pornhub, during a city council meeting on Wednesday morning. Unfortunately for him, a concerned citizen snapped a photo and he’s since become a laughing stock of the country. (The councilman giving a resolved thumbs up in the background certainly is not helping matters.)
Peres later told a Brazilian online publication that he’s absolutely convinced that his computer has a virus on it (lol ooooooookay), blaming an equipment malfunction. On Wednesday, he also posted the following YouTube clip on Twitter, which supposedly sets out to prove his innocence.

Roughly translated, the description reads:
The councilor does not know how the pornographic site appeared on your computer.
