A Businessman Did An Incredible Thing For 400 Troops On A Layover In Ireland

Air travel can be a real pain in the ass, with untrustworthy schedules and feeling like livestock shuffled from place to place. One LA businessman decided to make it a little more bearable for a large group of 400 American troops who were on a layover in Shannon, Ireland. In what will definitely provide him with enough good karma to last a long time, Shlomo Rechnitz took the opportunity to give a little back to those who give so much, buying all of the servicemen and women there dinner.

In a moving speech, Rechnitz profusely thanked all of the troops for their dedicated work:

” … you guys risk your lives to protect me and protect my family. If I get to go out and see a whole bunch of Army soldiers and Marines, it’s something that makes me proud. I’m on my way to Israel now and you guys protect them, too, and I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

No matter your politics, our troops could always use a bit more support, especially in times like these. These are the people who put themselves on the frontlines, and for that we should be grateful.
