Thanks Mom! Carrie Fisher’s Daughter Billie Lourd Joins ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ Cast.

Awfully sporting of Carrie Fisher to create a clone of her younger self.

Star Wars: Episode VII is already deep into filming, but apparently it’s never too late for a little nepotism! Carrie Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourd, who, it should be noted, has never acted in anything before, has joined the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. Not a bad first credit for your IMDb page!

Word is Billie, who thankfully got mom’s looks, will be playing a young Princess Leia. Hmmm, so are we talking young as compared to Carrie Fisher/Leia now? Seems like it, as according to sources, Billie donned a very Episode IV-esque costume for her scenes…

“She will even have her hair tied up in Princess Leia-style buns. She’s an aspiring actress and singer so she grabbed the opportunity with both hands.”

Nice to hear the ol’ cinnamon buns will be returning. Sooooo, um…any mysterious sources out there have any metal bikini information to share?
