This Guy Paid $26,000 For Cosmetic Surgery To Look Like David Beckham And It Was Clearly Money Well Spent

We’ve already met the 33-year-old man who spent $100,000 on plastic surgery to look like Justin Bieber, the 30-year-old wife and mother who spent $25,000 to look like Jennifer Lawrence, and this other lady who dropped $30 grand to look like Kim Kardashian. Now meet Jack Johnson (not that Jack Johnson), a 19-year-old from the UK who has spent £20,000 so far (approximately $26,000 USD) to look like David Beckham, and he plans to spend another £30,000 before he reaches his goal.

Johnson appeared on ITV’s This Morning on Monday to discuss his transformation. Now, whatever a guy wants to do with his own money is fine, but the problem — as hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby point out — is that the 19-year-old is currently unemployed and on unemployment benefits, and is already £19,000 in debt thanks to his procedures. “Isn’t that just going to make you sadder,” Schofield points out, when Johnson says he has no idea how he’s going to pay back the money. “The fact that you don’t look like David Beckham and you’re incredibly in debt?”

Unfazed, Johnson replied, “I know I don’t look like David Beckham at the minute, but at the moment I feel happy, I feel amazing about myself. I’m in the best place ever, in this past year.” Even sadder, Johnson thinks that when his transformation is complete he’ll be BFFs with the likes of Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, and Simon Cowell, and that he remains unemployed because he’s holding out for his big break. Into what, remains unclear.

Unfortunately, addiction to cosmetic surgery can be a real thing, so hopefully this kid will truly find some peace with himself, eventually.
