A newly hired daycare worker was fired after posting on Facebook about how much she hates being around kids. Kaitlyn Walls was set to start her new job at a daycare in The Colony, Texas, but she made the mistake of being a little too honest in a Facebook post:

“I start my new job today but I absolutely hate working at daycares.”

She followed it up with this gem:

“Lol its all good I just really hate being around a lot of kids.”

Walls lost her job almost immediately, but unfortunately, the story doesn’t end there. Her comments were shared around Facebook, and people responded with vitriol:

Walls also received some pretty awful backlash on Facebook, including being called “dumb b**ch” and a strange accusation that she has the “bubonic plague.”

Walls says that she has learned her lesson and won’t post about work on Facebook anymore. It is generally a good idea not to post negative opinions about work on Facebook and — pro tip — if you really hate being around a lot of kids, maybe working at daycare isn’t the best idea anyway.
