This Handjob Cabin trailer is so well-framed as a parody that it’s hard to believe the Wayans brothers don’t suddenly pop into frame. Such a well-worn concept could easily be stretched to a full-length feature, given the number of horror films that take place in a secluded cabin away from the trappings of the world at large. Evil Dead, Cabin Fever, and Cabin in the Woods are only a few movies whose tropes are readily recognizable in this trailer.
Owen Benjamin stars as one of four young adults who take a load off in a desolate part of the woods. After settling into their dream getaway destination, these weekend warriors discover that something is off. They soon find ready stashes of Viagra and one sexually frustrated ghost, who isn’t looking for her own satisfaction as much as the chance to deliver unto others.
Not only is this trailer funny as hell, but there are a few anticipatory moments where a jump scare threatens to pop in and rock your world. There’s no reason why this trailer couldn’t be a full-on horror comedy, for there’s plenty of audience to be found for a horny ghost weasels her way into assisting attractive people.
