Houston Rockets Have No Problems Tying NBA 3-Point Record

Since the Houston Rockets shot mostly threes last night, we’ll present this write-up in similar fashion.

Point One: The Rockets tied an NBA record with 23 made 3-pointers against the Golden State 140-109 at the Toyota Center.

Point Two: Jeremy Lin knocked down five triples, finishing with 28 points and nine dimes. James Harden and Chandler Parsons both had four 3-pointers and Houston had eight players in double figures. In particular, Parsons is having a pretty solid year for a second-year player, putting up close to 15 a game on .470 shooting from the floor.

Point Three: The final score included Houston putting up 77 points in the first half alone. Once everyone in the building realized the Rockets were close to setting an NBA record from the arc, GSW started playing the clock and fouling when their opponent attempted treys late in the game.

And One: Warriors big man Andrew Bogut took offense to what he considered the Rockets running up the score and craftily called them cunts on Twitter.
