This video has been on YouTube for a few years, but it’s somehow flown under the radar. When Captain Planet is called upon — instead of using his geo-powers — he offers some real-world advice that truly could save the planet.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Captain Planet has been spoofed; we’ve seen with Don Cheadle’s performance as the blue-skinned hero. It seems like Al Gore is the man behind the voice in this particular video, but the syncing is actually pretty good. Kudos to whoever made this, and kudos to you for following Cap’s advice because the world needs it and stuff. Let’s hope this somehow ties into the Captain Planet movie we’re supposedly getting.
