It was only a matter of time I guess. With 90% of internet creation being based off the peanut butter and jelly premise, internet memes and minimal movie posters were bound to collide eventually. And if it was going to happen I’m glad the guy behind the pandering put in the necessary time and energy to do them right.
Stefan Van Zoggel has created a collection of close to thirty Meme Movie Posters so far and — while some are superior to others — they’re for the most part delightful, especially if you’re like me and have paid close enough attention to all of these memes to pick up on the nuances in the posters. The credits are also a nice touch, I think.
