Jason Biggs has come under fire it seems like countless times now for posting distasteful things to his Twitter account (see: here and here) but for the most part, nothing he’s ever said has personally offended me other than the fact that he’s usually just not all that funny.
Well, congratulations are in order because Jason Biggs has finally managed to convince me, along with the rest of the world, that, no — actually Jason Biggs is kind of a dick. Biggs appeared on Joan Rivers’ web show this week, (not exactly known for always being the most stellar human being herself) and when Joan and Melissa asked him who he would save and who he would kill between Lindsay Lohan and Tara Reid, this is what he said:
“Lindsay Lohan stays,” he declared. “She’s got nice boobs. She really does. Lindsay’s got nice boobs. Tara’s body, I don’t know what’s going on with it. I don’t think she ever knows what’s going on with it.”
“And Lindsay does?” Rivers asked. “Lindsay doesn’t know what’s going on with Tara’s body either,” Biggs quipped. “No one knows what’s going on with Tara’s body.”
This isn’t the first time the star, who plays Larry Bloom on OITNB, has publicly insulted Reid. In October 2013, he called her a “hot mess” on an episode of Watch What Happens Live.
OK, we all know Tara Reid is an easy target, but coming from a former co-star? Come on: That’s just mean. Meanwhile, Biggs took to Twitter to apologize for his comments — OH HAHA JUST KIDDING, I meant “blame the evil tabloids for pointing out what a dick he is.”

Is Jason Biggs new here? Does he not know how this works? Yes, celebrity tabloids are awful, but they’re also a part of life, like death and taxes. Of course they’re going to make a giant spectacle of a misguided actress prone to bad decision making and they’re also going to make a spectacle of a celebrity who says crappy things about the same misguided actress — but I don’t know how that logic somehow absolves him of saying the crappy thing in the first place.
