Last night, while Rick Perry was desperately trying to salvage his tanking presidential by making fun of his debate buffoonery on Letterman, Jon Stewart was, as you might have expected, eviscerating Perry for sh*tting the bed on Wednesday night, pointing out exactly why he, along with everyone else on the stage the other night not named Mitt Romney, have no chance of securing the GOP nomination. And, of course, he did so hilariously.
With that said, I kind of wish this campaign for the GOP nomination could go on forever. It’s such a great source of laffs — what with Herman Cain, Rick Perry, and Michele Bachmann constantly having microphones shoved in their faces to broadcast the things that come out of their mouths. So yeah, I agree with Stewart — Romney’s the only one of the bunch I could actually envision sitting behind the desk in the Oval Office without thinking he was photoshopped in there.
