The “Star Trek” comics license has been passed around like a flask of cheap Romulan ale: Gold Key, Marvel, DC, Malibu, Marvel again (complete with inevitable X-Men crossover), DC again (through Wildstorm), Tokyopop and now IDW, which has actually been doing a solid job these last few years: their “Wrath of Khan” comic was really good.
Aaaaaaand now it’s back to DC, sort of, for a crossover: the original crew are going to run into the Legion of Superheroes. Needless to say, their visit to the thirtieth century in the DCU is not going to be without problems, especially since apparently they’re going to be visiting the Mirror Universe of the Legion of Super-Heroes.
Confused? Us too, but as long as it has Kirk seducing the female half of the Legion (and maybe Proty, depending on how convincing it can be) and Scotty driving Brainiac insane with his engineering, that’s really all we want.
