If you’re one of the people who freaked out and panicked when it was revealed that the NSA has been spying on all of us for years, don’t worry – you and your stylish tin foil hats are no longer alone. The folks at StopWatching.us released a Public Service Announcement today that features a number of former NSA whistleblowers reminding us that our every move is being watched, while they also recruited some serious star power in Maggie Gyllenhaal, John Cusack, Wil Wheaton and Oliver Stone as well.
According to Variety, the video was produced by the Electronic Frontier Foundation to raise awareness for an October 26 rally in Washington DC that is aptly named, “Stop Watching Us.” Of course, if history has taught us anything, the only way to make us normal losers pay attention is to get famous people to talk very seriously about something.
