Frustrated men can do some wild and crazy things when pushed to the edge. Some guys look to vent their anger with sports, or booze-time with the boys. One Georgia man’s temper, though, caused him to do some home remodeling… by driving his truck through his own residence.

John Paul Jones, Jr. of Senoia, Georgia, was sitting in his truck outside his modest home having a bad day. When the contractor couldn’t hold in his fiery frustration anymore, he decided to put the pedal to the floor and drove through his entire home, front to back yard.

His excuse for the extreme tantrum was odd, even by truck-driving-into-home guy standards:

“I don’t know, it was just one of those spur-of-the moment crazy things,” said Jones.

“I’ve been out of work for the past year and a half. Needed some work,” said Jones. “It didn’t pay anything, but hey, it kept me busy.”

According to CBS46, the real reason for the new drive-thru home was somewhat more reasonable. Jones had apparently been in a phone argument with his wife when he snapped.

Upon seeing the damage in action, neighbors quickly called 911. When police arrived, Jones had calmed down enough that he was willing to try out some amateur stand-up:

“The police came out here, I told them I needed air conditioning,” said Jones. “They said, ‘open a window.’ I told them it wasn’t enough. As you can see, I had a nice breeze.”

Jones received no charges for the incident, since apparently destroying your own property is punishment in itself.

Jones’ truck surprisingly came away with only minor damage, though the same cannot be said for the home. Maybe the next time this guy needs to blow off some steam, he’ll reach for a stress ball instead of a Dodge Ram.
