Martin Starr Brings Gravitas To James Joyce’s Incredibly Dirty Letters For His Wife Nora

On December 2, 1909, author James Joyce wrote a letter to his wife Nora. It read in part:

All I have written above is only a moment or two of brutal madness. The last drop of seed has hardly been squirted up your cunt before it is over and my true love for you, the love of my verses, the love of my eyes for your strange luring eyes, comes blowing over my soul like a wind of spices. My prick is still hot and stiff and quivering from the last brutal drive it has given you when a faint hymn is heard rising in tender pitiful worship of you from the dim cloisters of my heart. (Via)

Little known fact, Ulysses was originally titled Ulyasses. Anyway, Joyce was a dirty dog, a well spoken dirty dog but a dirty dog nonetheless, so when Funny or Die decided they needed an actor to read the author’s letters out loud, they thought of only one man, one sophisticated, intelligent, sexxxy man:

Take it away, Martin Starr.
