Milkshake — Milkshake!!! — was rescued from an animal hoarder who had cruelly her kept locked in a 10×10 pen from the time she was two weeks old, separated from her mother and other animals. Such an experience would leave most creatures extremely damaged and untrustworthy of humans, but when rescued by the Grace Foundation of Northern California — Milkshake immediately bonded with her caretaker Beth DeCaprio and follows her around, scampering and playing like a dog with her best friend, a terrier mix named Riley.

Well, Roquefort-stuffed cheeseburger I ate on Sunday, I guess you were as good a last time I’ll ever eat beef again as any. Also, does anyone know how I can get my hands on a pet cow? Only ones who like chin scritches, of course. Sure I live in the city, but goddammit, I’ll find a way to make it work.
