The breakout kid stars of Stranger Things have been handling their newfound fame remarkably well for a bunch of 12 to 14-year-old kids when you consider they went from being complete unknowns to practically household names in the space of, oh, three months or so. They’ve even gone so far as to embrace their fandom, such a Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin) who asks fans to take a picture with him to show them how appreciated they are.
Even so, it’s got to be tough for a kid who just wants to be a kid, when virtually everybody knows who you are. Millie Bobby Brown recently appeared at the Salt Lake City Comic Con, where she graciously welcomed fans, and — as the man hired to be her bodyguard writes in the above imgur post — would even come out from behind her booth and hug people to make them feel special. But in her downtime, Brown decided to try her hand at being a normal kid, so she put on a Guy Fawkes mask and walked around the comic con with her bodyguard, posing for pictures with cosplayers and unknowing fans, as you can see in the images below.
