Nothing To See Here, Just Two Japanese Girls Trying To Blow A Cockroach Into Each Other’s Mouths

The above clip was taken from a Japanese variety show called AKBingo!, which — according to Wikipedia — stars a Japanese girl group called AKB48, who “participate in activities that include quizzes, sports and news.”

I just thought that putting some context into what transpires would be helpful, as AKB48’s 16-year-old Ryoka Oshima and 18-year-old Shinobu Mogi face off against each other by blowing into a clear tube containing a dead cockroach, which the winner eventually blows into the loser’s mouth, who is then forced to eat the insect.

Let’s just chalk this up as another “Meanwhile in Japan…” moment and be done with it.
