Last week Variety reported that three actresses were being considered for a role — “not Lois Lane” — in Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot. The three actress are pictured above, left to right: Alice Eve (She’s Out Of My League), Diane Kruger (Inglourious Basterds), and Rosamund Pike (Bond girl in Die Another Day).

As for the mystery character, (spoiler alert) they say she’s Ursa, the villainess who was banished to the Phantom Zone by Jor-El. And they don’t even have ice cream in the Phantom Zone.
