Patton Oswalt’s Rejected Pitches To DC Comics

I have this picture hanging in my naked puzzle basement.

A few years ago Patton Oswalt pitched a couple ideas to DC for Batman comics, the first following a young, inexperienced Cluemaster gathering a C-list of lesser villains to take on The Joker and the second idea being a retelling of The Dirty Dozen with Dick Grayson and Batman villains as the dozen.  What god did I please?  Apparently none, because DC rejected both pitches.  At least we now know what those pitches were since Oswalt posted them on his blog this weekend.

Oswalt’s blog post is quoted on the next page, and we also have the issue of Bizarro World he made six years ago with Bob Fingerman and Dave Stewart (with a little help from Bob Odenkirk and David Cross).  Then bend over Abigail May, because here comes the gravy pipe!
