Sooo, Jason West and Vince Zampella — what’s been up with those guys? Last year the founders of Infinity Ward were sh-tcanned by Activision for, I dunno, making them too much money or something, so they left with half the Infinity Ward staff and triumphantly started Respawn Studios over at EA. I guess they’ve spent most of their time since then setting up their offices (choosing the right color scheme can be a bitch) because we certainly haven’t been shown any evidence that they’re actually working on any games or anything.
Until now! Uh, sort of. Respawn recently released a teaser for the game they’re working on, and what a teaser it is! Check it out after the jump…
So yeah, judging by the blurriness Respawn has made the surprising decision to develop their new game for the N64. Personally I’m hoping they somehow got the Battletanks license.
Seriously though, let’s do some decoding here. Um, that mass in the middle looks kind of like a car to me. Orrr, maybe a tank? Or possibly two guys with guns? There’s certainly lots of familiar Infinity Ward brown n’ grey, so that’s comforting.
Waaait a minute, I think this game may end up being some sort of military shooter! You heard it here first folks!
