“Sometimes a thing happens. Splits your life. There’s a before and after.”
That quote came courtesy of True Detective season two this year, and it seems like a pretty fitting description for the video you see above. For this poor small French child, life existed before his world was shattered by a well-oiled spring saloon door, and life will exist after, but they will forever be two separate lives. Life comes at you fast like that.
Thankfully, small children tend to have skulls made of concrete just for occasions such as this, so hopefully the “after” portion wasn’t full of concussions and/or brain damage. Might want to keep that head on a swivel from now on, though.
