Stressed Out People Were Given A Chance To Decompress With ‘Kitten Therapy’

Soul Pancake, in partnership with Tidy Cat, conducted this experiment with strangers walking by on the street. A sign outside of a glass chamber read, “Free Therapy, Step Inside And Relax.” Once inside, they placed headphones over their ears and a soothing voice asked them to close their eyes, relax, and listen to the gentle purring of the happy kitten as the participants then heard the sound of purring. The voice then asked them to open their eyes, and it was all SURPRISE KITTENS, BITCHES. The participants then felt their stress wash away as they played with a bunch of adorable kittens.

That sounds nice. Really nice. Earlier today I was on a call and two of my cats decided that it would be a good time to fight with one another, then f*ck sh*t up in a paper shopping bag (that I had moved out of the bedroom for expressly that reason), and then one of them peed on the floor as I was changing the litter. I feel like I could use some kitten therapy, is all I’m saying, because my actual cats are stressing me out.
