Give this guy one point for getting creative upon arrest. Subtract several points for pointlessly chewing off his own fingertips. Down in Florida, a suspect named Kenzo Roberts could not evade arrest. He did the next best thing and tried to make himself unidentifiable by losing his fingerprints. Was he successful? Not even close.
This video is almost hypnotic. Kenzo methodically gnaws off each of his fingerprints as the camera rolls. It’s notable how this guy chews off his own flesh without showing any signs of pain. His pupils are pinned back, so one might assume he’s under the influence of something major. The saddest part of this whole story is how the police fingerprint scanner still managed to easily identify Roberts. In short order, authorities pulled up his two previous arrest warrants, including assault with a deadly weapon. The summary of his new charges is impressive:
Roberts has been charged with three counts of possession of a counterfeit credit card, grand theft auto, possession of a concealed firearm, possession of similitude of a driver’s license, driving while license suspended, and false identification given to law enforcement.
In addition, Border Patrol revealed how Roberts is in the United States illegally. This guy’s in a heap of trouble, and he’s now sporting scabbed-over fingertips, too.
