People lost their minds over Taylor Swift’s Australian doppelgänger on Monday, and it appears that the Matrix is still glitching, because yet another set of unrelated twins has been found. While neither are famous like Swift, the likeness is even more uncanny.
Sara, a student from Sweden, decided to try and find her doppelgänger using the website Twin Strangers, and found a match in Shannon from Ireland. After finding Shannon’s photo, Sara said “my friends actually thought the picture of Shannon was me.” Because traveling out of the country to meet a stranger you met online is much safer when you share a face, the two girls decided to meet face to same face in Dublin.
“I gave her a hug and then we just stood there like ‘Oh my God, this is so weird,’ ” said Shannon.
“Our noses, our eyes… we have the exact same ears… lips, expressions, pout, smile… it’s just weird.”
While you can make anyone with slightly similar features look the same when you put them in identical outfits, hair, and make up, but it’s impossible to deny that these two really do look like twins.
So, who’s going to set up a Twin Stranger account and find your brother from another mother, your sister from another mister? If you’re a hot blonde, you might even become internet famous.
