Gearbox claims they were working on a commercial for the Super Bowl and just didn’t finish it in time. We are suspicious of this, however, partially because we’re pretty sure no network in their right mind would ever let this spot on the air.
Joking aside, this plug for Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, hitting March 24th, is for the limited edition, and lets you see the remote control Claptrap that you get for your $400. Yes, the limited edition costs $400. But you get Claptrap, complete with phrases, and a live stream from the camera they’ve hidden in his eye! If you cheap out, the base game includes Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, and more importantly every bit of DLC for both that’s been released by the time the game arrives.
But even if you don’t buy it, the game will stay with you forever. I know this is going to haunt my every waking moment:
