A pilot in Kourou, French Guiana, has now learned to add another item to his pre-flight checklist: search wings for cats. As seen about 40 seconds into the video above, a napping cat realized she’d made a huge mistake, and pilot Romain Jantot managed to land his Skyranger ultralight aircraft without harming her.
He says, “The cat is doing well, she is still our mascot.”
Number one requirement for being this airport’s mascot? Excellent grip strength. Hang on, little moggy!
